General data:

Built (1957) on a light truck chassis this car superseded the Volvo TPV from 1953. 720 were made, until 1958. A sturdy and attractive 4/5 seater, many have been preserved by MV collectors. Known officially as Radiopersonterrängbil 915 (and popularly as 'Suggan', Sow) there were two versions: 9151 and 9152, which differed in equipment. The chassis was used also for 265TL11 and TL12 aircraft starter / towing vehicles (equipped by Penta, for starting jet engines); these had the A6 type engine of 105 and 115bhp respectively.

Own ED 6 cyl. side-valve liquid-cooled petrol engine. Cubic capacity 3645 cc. Maximum output 90 bhp at 3600rpm. Dry plate clutch. 4F1R gearbox. 2-speed transfer box with front axle disconnect. 5.14:1 axle gear ratio. vacuum operated diff locks. Hydaulic brakes. Rigid axles with semi-elliptic leaf springs. 9.00-16 tyres. 12-volt electrics. 76-litre fuel capacity.
